Lovely food but unfortunately service wasn't the best. Asked for more gravy and it never came. Asked for dessert menu...same again it never came. The place wasn't even that busy.
Went today for a 40th Birthday celebration I have never been before it was amazing! The decor the outside bouncy castle for the kids wacky wagon we spent six hours there! Will defo be going back to this little gem. Had the buffet it was lovely.
Great place. It's really quirky. The food was hot, fresh, and plentiful. We had the 3 meat roast. Large bowl vegetables came separately, cooked to perfection
We had a lovely breakfast today, the food was delicious and hot, but what I do actually want to say is a massive thank you to a lovely young man called George. He was so polite, and happy to serve us our food, asked us if we wanted any extras, any sauces, and more drinks, he was a lovely waiter and made our morning. We will definitely be back, and will hopefully be greated by George!
Beautiful & quirky establishment! The grounds are gorgeous and the restaurant decor was incredible. It was such a nice walk through seeing all the art work and the cave bar! Breakfast is lovely. Portions are great and brilliant quality for price. The staff were really attentive and really took care of us. Very clean also! Highly recommend!!
Really fancied an Afternoon Tea & my fiance booked this one for my birthday. The place is quite big which caters for various events including weddings etc. Huge grounds so there are lots of things to do with the kids, accommodation on site too. Nicely decorated with unique style. Staff are friendly & helpful, kept making sure we didn't want another pot of tea. Afternoon Tea was lovely as you can see in the pictures, other people were there were admiring the picnic bench with the sandwiches & cakes on. Nice choice of sandwiches too. We had a pleasant time.
I visited the Quicken Tree with my family for my partners birthday meal as it was a family friend's recommendation. The place was easy to find, we were seated quickly as we had a reservation. The staff was very lovely and welcoming, the decor was beautiful and they gave us a little booth for our lunch. The menu wasn't really long which I liked. I ordered the arancini with hummus for starter and Battered fish and chips for mains. I must say I wasn't disappointed at all. Both of the dishes tasted absolutely delicious and the food tasted very fresh. We also had the 2 for 1 offer on the fish and chips. Julie who was one of the staff members , she was really sweet. She made some minor adjustments with our food which was very kind of her. The staff also surprised us with a cute dessert and sang a song for my partner. This act was heart touching as it was unexpected. They made our lunch really special. I will definitely be back and I will definitely recommend it, if you enjoy good food with excellent service!!!
We love dining at the Quicken Tree regularly for breakfasts and date night meals. The restaurant is uniquely decorated with fairy lights and quirky artwork which give it a cool, relaxed atmosphere. I have honestly never had a bad meal here; always comes out served hot and cooked to perfection We have had the pleasure of being served by Peter on multiple occasions - he is super welcoming, friendly, knowledgeable and is a very competent member of the team so we know when he is our server that we will be taken care of and are in the best hands! Would particularly recommend the chicken wings, the mixed grill and truffle fries
